“Flexi-Glass” - with Carmen Reynolds
Make glass
sheets you can cut with scissors? Hold onto your hat, Flexi Glass is going to
blow your mind. Flexi-Glass is an exciting new product developed by glass
artist David Alcala. This amazing new glass medium will open the door to
exciting possibilities and applications to your glass fusing projects that will
simply amaze you. In this hands-on class
we’ll create flexible glass sheets that you can cut with scissors, X-Acto knives
or paper punches. You’ll also learn how use Flexi glass to make stinger lines
and mica sheets. With all these components we’ll explore different design
techniques for using Flexi Glass and firing schedules.

Bring: A sack lunch, glass cutter,
breaking pliers, small sharp scissors, simple paper punches, pallet knife, dust
mask, notebook. If needed, you can purchase these items during class.
