Fiber Board 1/2"
Our fiber board is a versatile ceramic fiber product. We use it mainly for large seam free shelves and damming walls for casting.
Here are some other uses:
Carve into it with woodworking tools to make a textured design that you cast or fuse into.
Cut it with an X-acto knife to make a custom or irregular shaped drop out molds.
Slice strips of fiber board when you need "dams" for frit casting projects. To make the board strong enough to withstand multiple firings, coat fiber board with Fiber Mold Hardener and fire to 1200°.
