Custom Designed 22” Sink Mold.
After almost a year of working with building contractors and steel spinners we've got the perfect mold for slumping commercial grade glass sinks. This 22" form has smooth transitioned sides for a beautiful shape, a gently flared lip to help keep your glass on center when slumping and a slightly flatter radius at the bottom to allow for easy placement on a counter while still allowing all the water to flow from the basin.

We didn't just adapt this mold from a bowl or a wok, instead we developed a shape that will please not only the custom designers but the building inspector as well. To make the glass blank for the sink you can either fuse your own slab or use our specially designed Stainless Steel Casting Ring (CASRIN). This mold has a 22" diameter and 7 1/2" tall and produces a sink that is about 17" in diameter and 5" tall.

Stainless Steel Mold Stand

This 7” diameter stainless steel ring is 1 ¼” tall. It is the ideal support for round bottom molds. Place the stand in the center of the kiln and then center your molds on top of the stand.  The stand keeps the molds from rolling or moving around and it can also be used as a 7” casting ring.

Stainless Steel Casting Ring

Made from 300 series stainless steel, this 20” diameter x 2½” tall ring fits nicely on a 21” round kiln shelf and is butt welded to eliminate seams. The ring is the ideal container form to use when casting pieces of glass together to make glass sinks. Just set the casting ring lined with ceramic fiber paper (RINPAP) on a prepared kiln shelf and fill with compatible glass. Fire to full fuse without worry, the ring will contain the molten glass allowing you to make thick glass slabs that can be slumped into glass sinks using the Fuse Master Sink Mold (SINKMOL).

Ceramic Fiber Ring Paper

Use this 61-¾” x 2-½” x 1/8” strip of ceramic fiber to line our Stainless Steel Casting Ring. It both keeps the glass from fusing to the Stainless Steel ring it prevents the ring from pinching the glass.
